When a transaction crosses borders, taxation can no longer be viewed from the perspective of a single country. Corporations, subsidiaries, nonresidents, tax treaties, and intercompany transactions require a review that integrates regulations, documentation, and tax implications.
Crossing borders also changes the way you pay taxes.
Subsidiaries, affiliated companies, investments outside Spain, or structural changes require a prior tax review.
The key is knowing where each entity is taxed and what obligations arise in each jurisdiction.
Transactions between companies within the same group must be properly justified and documented.
The price is important, but so is the ability to prove that it meets market criteria.
When multiple countries are involved, the applicable treaty may affect the taxation of income, dividends, interest, or services.
Reviewing it prevents you from filing a return based on an incomplete understanding.
Operating abroad requires managing deadlines, taxes, documentation, and obligations that do not always align with those in Spain.
The goal is to comply with these requirements without losing sight of the operation as a whole.

Spain Tax Guide
Up-to-date tax information. With just one click.
We're providing you with a practical guide to the latest tax updates of the year.
Because staying informed is also a way to stay protected.
When there is more than one country, there is also more than one way of looking at taxes.
A company based outside Spain, a transaction with a related party, or income generated in another jurisdiction can completely change the tax treatment.
The key is knowing which rules apply, where taxes are due, and what documentation you should have ready.

When multiple countries are involved, a tax issue rarely comes alone.
An international tax advisor reviews how transactions, income, or structures are taxed when more than one country is involved. He or she also analyzes tax treaties, nonresidents, transfer pricing, and tax obligations outside of Spain.
When you sell goods, provide services, invest, have affiliated companies, or generate income in other countries. In these cases, international tax advice helps you determine where you are subject to taxation and what obligations you must fulfill.
These are agreements between countries designed to prevent the same income from being taxed twice. It is advisable to review them before reporting dividends, interest, services, wages, or income from nonresidents.
It depends on the country involved, the transaction, the documentation, and the scope of the analysis. Resolving a one-time inquiry is not the same as reviewing a structure, an intra-group transaction, or a non-resident situation.
